When I read below quote from Wikipedia, I am mostly happy with description. That was until I read last part about Coraline’s mother thinking I am fat drunk? But wait second I thought…she’s not talking about me!
Mr. Sergei Alexander Bobinski (known as Mr. Bobo in the novel), one of Coraline’s neighbors, is a blue-skinned Russian/Montenegrin giant who once trained as a gymnast and lives on a steady diet of beets. His Other World counterpart is the ringmaster of a circus of rats disguised as jumping mice (ironically, he is later transformed into a plethora of rats). Coraline’s mother believes him to be inebriated.
The only thing the real Bobinsky would be inebriated with is beets with side of cheese!
